Role Description This contract role is for a Data Scientist with AI experience, based in Bengaluru in a hybrid work model that combines on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Data

Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data, transforming it into actionable insights for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and validating statistical and machine learning models, developing AI-driven solutions, and creating clear data visualizations and reports to support decision-making. The role also involves conducting exploratory data analysis, evaluating model performance,



and iterating on solutions to improve accuracy and impact.

The Data

Scientist will document methodologies, collaborate on solution design, and contribute to best practices for data governance and model deployment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Science and Data Analytics for building models, extracting insights, and solving complex business problems having experience between 10-12 years.
- Candidates should possess solid grounding in Statistics and Data Analysis to design experiments, interpret results, and ensure analytical rigor.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Visualization to present findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools (such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn) is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with large datasets, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data processing frameworks (e.g., Pandas, Spark) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business questions into analytical tasks are essential.
- Ability to collaborate in hybrid teams, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively in a contract setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is desirable.
