Sanofi is looking for a Data & AI Engineer to take ownership of the entire back end of applications, including the design, implementation, test, and troubleshooting of core application logic.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot core application logic, databases, data ingestion and transformation, data processing, and orchestration of pipelines and APIs.

- Fine-tune and optimize queries using Snowflake platform and databases techniques.

- Optimize ETL and data pipelines to balance performance, functionality, and other operational requirements.

- Assess and resolve data pipeline issues to ensure performance and timeliness of execution.

- Assist with technical solution discovery to ensure technical feasibility and set up CI/CD pipelines.

- Develop and manage microservices using Python.

- Conduct peer reviews for quality, consistency, and rigor for production level solutions.

- Create detailed documentation on Confluence to support and maintain codebases.

Requirements

Requirements





- 4+ years of relevant experience developing backend, integration, data pipelining, and infrastructure.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar quantitative field.

- Expertise in database optimization and performance improvement.

- Expertise in Python, PySpark, and Snowpark.

- Experience with data warehouses and object-relational databases like Snowflake and PostgreSQL.

- Proficiency in developing robust APIs using FastAPI Framework.

- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with contemporary testing frameworks like SonarQube and K6.

- Knowledge of DevOps best practices, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Grafana.
