- Job Purpose To provide quality dance education to students and nurture their creativity, confidence, physical coordination and artistic expression through structured dance lessons and performances, in alignment with the school's curriculum and co-scholastic activities.
- Roles & Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Learning

- Plan and conduct structured dance classes for students across different grades.
- Teach various dance forms, including classical, folk, contemporary, Western and other suitable styles.
- Develop age-appropriate dance lesson plans and activities.
- Introduce students to rhythm, body movements, coordination, expressions and basic dance techniques.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, discipline and teamwork among students.
- Assess students' participation, progress and performance periodically.

B. School Events & Activities

- Choreograph dance performances for Annual Day, Sports Day, Cultural Day, Special Assemblies and other school celebrations.
- Prepare students for inter-school competitions, cultural programmes and talent showcases.
- Coordinate rehearsals and ensure students are well-prepared for performances.
- Work closely with teachers and event coordinators for programme planning and execution.
- Identify and encourage talented students to participate in various dance activities.

C. Classroom & Student Management

- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during dance sessions and rehearsals.
- Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of dance equipment, props and music systems.
- Provide equal opportunities to students irrespective of their dance experience.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
- Ensure that all dance activities are conducted in accordance with school safety guidelines.

D. Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain attendance records and lesson plans.




- Submit periodic student progress reports to the concerned coordinator.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding class schedules and event requirements.
- Maintain records of choreography, music tracks and performance preparations.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and other school-related activities as required.

3. Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline, preferably with a certification or diploma in Dance.
- Formal training in one or more dance forms is desirable.
- Relevant professional dance certifications will be an added advantage.

4. Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Dance Teacher in a reputed school or dance academy.
- Experience handling students across different age groups.
- Prior experience in school event choreography and cultural programmes is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
