Healthus.ai is a healthcare growth agency. We help hospital networks, clinic chains, funded health start-ups, pharma companies and wellness brands in India and abroad turn attention into appointments, using SEO, AI search, paid media, social, video and PR.

We're looking for a medical writer who can explain complex medical concepts clearly and accurately and who understands how search works. That includes the AI answers patients now read before they ever click a link.

One rule up front: we don't publish AI-generated copy. Your words, your research and your judgement are the whole point of this role.

What you'll write

- Pages that bring in patients. You'll write treatment, condition, speciality, doctor and location pages that rank, answer real patient questions and lead to enquiries.
- Content that AI search cites (AIO and GEO). You'll structure content with clear answers, FAQs, expert attribution and strong sources, so it gets quoted in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
- Patient education. You'll create blogs, guides and explainers that turn medical jargon into plain, reassuring language, without dumbing it down.
- Writing for doctors and other professionals. You'll adapt your tone for clinicians, pharma audiences and healthcare leaders when the brief calls for it.
- Writing for every channel. You'll draft social captions, video scripts, email copy, brochures and landing pages, working with our social, video and paid media teams.
- SEO from the first draft. You'll handle search intent, keyword mapping, headings, meta titles and descriptions, internal links and schema-ready FAQs, together with our SEO team.
- Content updates.



You'll refresh existing pages as guidelines, treatments and evidence change, and as search trends shift.

- Research from primary sources. You'll work from peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines and bodies like the WHO, ICMR and national medical associations, not from other blogs.
- Expert review (E-E-A-T). You'll work with doctors to review and sign off content, and you'll attribute their expertise properly.
- Compliance by default. You'll write in line with NMC and ASCI guidelines and the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act. That means no "best doctor", no "guaranteed cure" and no misleading comparisons.
- Precision. Every claim is referenced, every statistic checked and every draft proofread.

You'll thrive here if you
- Have a degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, nursing, journalism or a related field.
- Have 2–5 years of experience in medical or health content writing, ideally for hospitals, pharma or health platforms.
- Are fluent in medical terminology and comfortable reading clinical research.
- Understand SEO basics: search intent, on-page optimisation and tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console and SurferSEO.
- Write clean, warm, human copy that patients actually want to read.
- Know AMA or APA style and cite sources properly.
- Can manage several briefs and a content calendar without missing deadlines.
- Bring knowledge of Ayurveda, fertility, oncology, cardiology or longevity. This is a bonus, not a must.
