Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Science Teacher role based at Narayana Group of Schools in Kalimpong-II.

The Computer Science

Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in computer science and related areas, aligning instruction with the school’s curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves collaborating with other educators on curriculum enhancement,



supporting students in computer science projects and competitions, and participating in school events and academic initiatives. The teacher is also expected to foster a positive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and ethical use of technology.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Computer Science and related technologies.
- Expertise in Computer Science Education and Lesson Planning to design effective, age-appropriate instruction.
- Experience in Curriculum Development for computer science courses and integration with broader academic programs.
- Comfort with teaching Mathematics concepts that support computational thinking and problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience at school level, preferably in computer science or STEM subjects.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use educational technology, learning management systems, and digital tools in instruction.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices and continuous professional development.
