Role Description The Commerce Mentor will provide day-to-day academic and career guidance to commerce students, helping them strengthen core subject knowledge and job-readiness skills. In this full-time, in office role based in Tiruppur, the Mentor will conduct interactive classroom sessions, doubt-clearing discussions, and small-group mentoring focused on commerce fundamentals, aptitude, and professional skills.

Responsibilities include designing lesson plans aligned with learning outcomes, preparing practice materials and assignments, and tracking student progress through assessments and feedback. The Mentor will collaborate with internal teams to align training with placement requirements,



support students with interview preparation, and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching methods and content. The role requires regular interaction with students, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting institutional goals related to placements and learner success.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in commerce subjects (e.g., accounting, finance, business studies, economics) and the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training students, with skills in classroom facilitation, student engagement, and academic counseling.
- Good communication and presentation skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to adapt explanations to diverse learning styles.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for content delivery, student tracking, and communication (e.g., learning platforms, presentations, spreadsheets).
- Ability to plan sessions, structure curricula, and create practice problems or case studies that support exam and placement readiness.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and strong organizational skills to manage schedules, reports, and student progress documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Management, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in education, coaching centers, or skill development organizations is preferred; exposure to campus placements or industry requirements is an added advantage.
