Role Summary The Co-Curricular Head owns everything that builds a NIAT student's skills outside the core curriculum about 30% of their overall skill development. That covers GRIT, the skill-enhancement tests that get students internship-ready

- MINT, where students work on real projects
- BRAVE, where students go out on their own to small businesses and close entrepreneurship projects with them; workshops, ideation sessions and hackathons; competitive programming through ICPC and GSoC; and the IoT Robotics &
- Automation team. Across all partner universities, now and as NIAT scales, the job is to make all of this run the same way everywhere: one academic-year calendar planned around exams, one standard process for every program, participation driven systematically rather than left to each campus, and measurable results not just events held.

Key Responsibilities

- Program ownership own GRIT, MINT, BRAVE, competitive programming (ICPC and GSoC), workshops, hackathons, and the IoT Robotics &
- Automation team end to end — design, delivery standard, and outcomes — across all campuses

- Participation drive — set participation targets per program, per campus, and per batch, and build the system that gets students in — cohort tracking, reminders, faculty and Student Relationship involvement — so participation doesn't depend on which campus a student is at

- Process standardization — write and maintain one standard operating process for every program — enrolment, execution, evaluation, certification — and make sure every campus runs it the same way, with regular audits

- Academic calendar — plan the full-year co-curricular calendar for every campus around exam windows, semester breaks, and academic deadlines, and publish it in the unified events calendar with CUE so nothing clashes

- GRIT — run the skill-enhancement tests on a fixed cadence across campuses,

and make sure results feed into internship readiness and placement preparation

- MINT and BRAVE — keep a steady pipeline of MINT projects for every cohort, and give BRAVE students the guidelines, templates, and support to approach small businesses and close their projects to a consistent quality bar

- Workshops and hackathons — run workshops, ideation sessions, and hackathons smoothly at every campus — speakers and mentors, logistics checklist, run-of-show, judging, and post-event feedback — so quality is the same everywhere — led through the Workshops &

- Hackathons SME

- Competitive programming — lead the ICPC and GSoC tracks through the ICPC SME and the GSoC SME — set the goals for teams fielded, regional qualifications, and GSoC selections, and make sure both tracks run across all campuses on one standard process

- SME team leadership — hire, direct, and review the ICPC SME, GSoC SME, and Workshops &

- Hackathons SME — agree their yearly goals, review their plans and results, and keep their calendars and campus work from clashing with each other or with exams

- Robotics and automation — work with the IoT Robotics &

- Automation lead to grow the IoT Robotics &
- Automation team across campuses — student intake, builds, competitions, and showcases

- Campus execution network — set up, train, and manage the campus-level co-curricular coordinators who deliver programs on the ground, and hold each campus to the standard

- Industry and partner network — build the network of industry mentors, judges, project partners, and small businesses that MINT, BRAVE, and hackathons depend on

- Cross-functional coordination — work with Academics, Student Relationship, Parent Relationship, CUE, Program Ops, the internship / placement team, and University Partnerships so co-curricular plans fit the wider academic plan

- Reporting — maintain one dashboard across all campuses — participation, completion, and outcomes by program — and report it to leadership with a plan, not just a status

Who We're Looking For

- 10–14 years of total experience, including 4–5+ years owning a student-facing or multi-location program end to end

- Has run the same program across many locations at once and made it work the same way everywhere — through SOPs, audits, and dashboards, not personal heroics

- Understands how engineering and technology students build skills — projects, hackathons, assessments, internships — and is credible with students, faculty, and industry

- Robust calendar and operations discipline — plans a full year ahead around exams and holds every campus to it

- Owns participation and outcome numbers, not just event counts, and reports on them upward with a plan

- Gets campus leadership, faculty, and other functions to align without direct authority over them

- Has hired and managed program leads or campus coordinators

- Willing to travel across campuses

Good to Have

- Experience running hackathons, innovation challenges, or startup / incubation programs

- Exposure to robotics, IoT, maker-space, or STEM lab programs
- An existing network of industry mentors, startups, or small businesses for projects

- Experience with learning-management or program-tracking tools
