Role Description The CNC Router Operator role at Tripod Global Shopfits (APAC) is a full-time position based in Banglore with a on site work arrangement, allowing some tasks such as documentation and planning to be completed . The CNC Router Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC routing machinery to produce components and fixtures according to technical drawings and production specifications. Daily activities include preparing materials, loading and unloading workpieces, monitoring machine performance, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring safe operation at all times.

The role involves inspecting finished parts for accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional compliance,



and coordinating with the production and design teams to resolve issues or optimize machining processes. The CNC Router Operator is expected to follow shop floor procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and contribute to continuous improvement of machining workflows and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong machine operation skills with experience in CNC routing or similar machinery; ability to set up, run, and troubleshoot machines safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in machining and milling processes, including reading technical drawings, understanding cutting parameters, and selecting appropriate tools and materials.
- Quality control capabilities with attention to detail, including dimensional inspection, basic measurement tools use (calipers, gauges), and documentation of inspection results.
- General machinery knowledge, including basic maintenance, safety procedures, and familiarity with workshop tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings or production plans; exposure to CNC programming or CAM software is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or shopfitting workplace preferred; vocational training or certification in machining, mechanical, or related fields is beneficial.
