Position: Cloud & Backend Engineer (Architecture Team)

Location: Remote / WFH

Experience: 2+ years (backend development, AWS and API integration)

Qualification: Any skilled degree accepted (practical experience and technical knowledge matter more than the area of study)

Background Sought: JavaScript / TypeScript + Node.js + AWS + API Integration + Git / GitHub & CI/CD, with strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of AWS Bedrock and generative AI is desirable.

Role purpose

You will join the Architecture Team to build, integrate and support cloud-based applications. The role combines backend development, AWS infrastructure, API integrations and delivery automation, with ownership of solutions from development through deployment and support.

Key responsibilities

✅ Develop, integrate and maintain backend services and APIs using JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js

✅ Contribute to AWS solution design, cloud configuration, deployment and operational reliability

✅ Support secure access, secrets, networking and infrastructure configuration as per team standards

✅ Work with Git-based workflows, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines

✅ Investigate and resolve issues using AWS monitoring, logs and audit information

✅ Collaborate with developers and stakeholders, document solutions and automate repetitive work

Skills required

? 2+ years of professional experience, including real-world AWS and API integration work





? Strong JavaScript and TypeScript (asynchronous programming, debugging, maintainable code)

? Good working knowledge of Node.js and backend application development

? Practical Git and GitHub experience (branches, pull requests, collaboration)

AWS knowledge areas

☁️ Identity & Security: IAM, IAM Identity Center, Cognito, Secrets Manager, ACM, CloudTrail

☁️ Compute & APIs: EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync

☁️ Storage & Databases: S3, Amazon RDS

☁️ Networking & Delivery: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront

☁️ Operations: CloudWatch, Systems Manager

☁️ Delivery & Infrastructure: CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation

Good to have

➕ AWS Bedrock and practical generative AI applications

➕ Automation using Claude, OpenAI tools or Microsoft Power Automate

➕ Python scripting and MySQL

➕ Jira, Swagger / OpenAPI and API testing automation The way you work
