We are looking for an experienced Principal Cloud Architect who can define and drive scalable, distributed, hypervisor-independent cloud infrastructure architectures. This is a senior architecture leadership position requiring deep hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and multi-hypervisor environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive cloud infrastructure and platform architecture.
- Design scalable, distributed, multi-DC and multi-region cloud environments.
- Architect cloud networking and SDN solutions across multi-hypervisor platforms.
- Establish infrastructure abstraction across different hypervisors and infrastructure providers.
- Guide the implementation of high-availability, network-isolation, routing and virtual networking architectures.
- Drive architecture governance, technical documentation and engineering best practices.
- Mentor architects and build technical capabilities within the SRE team.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Security and Service Delivery teams.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise
- 15+ years of overall technology experience with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform architecture.
- Experience building or operating CSP, private cloud or large-scale cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualization,



Kubernetes and multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with KVM, Proxmox, VMware, OpenStack, CloudStack or similar platforms.
- Strong expertise in Cloud Networking and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
- Experience with OpenStack Neutron, OVN/OVS, virtual networking, network isolation, routing and high-availability architecture.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure and GCP architecture patterns, beyond application deployment.
- Experience with multi-DC/multi-region architecture, control-plane/data-plane models and distributed cloud.
- Strong automation, API and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) mindset.
- Ability to design scalable, hypervisor-independent networking architectures.
