Job Summary

ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd. is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support the execution of Greenfield industrial projects involving the development of new plant facilities and associated civil infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial civil construction, foundations, RCC works, structural works and site execution, preferably in heavy engineering, manufacturing or EPC project environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise civil construction activities for Greenfield industrial projects from site development through completion.
- Handle site preparation, levelling, excavation, earthwork, PCC/RCC and reinforced concrete foundations.
- Supervise equipment foundations, machine foundations, industrial buildings, structural steel works, sheds, internal roads and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret civil and structural drawings, foundation layouts and construction details.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, electrical and project teams to ensure civil readiness for machinery and plant installation.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, manpower, construction materials and equipment at project sites.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity estimates, measurements, material requirements and contractor bills.




- Monitor construction progress against project schedules and report delays, site issues and corrective actions.
- Ensure construction quality, adherence to approved drawings and specifications, and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors and internal project stakeholders.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, quality documentation and project execution updates.

Required Skills and Experience

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in Greenfield industrial projects, plant construction or industrial civil execution.
- Practical knowledge of RCC, equipment foundations, structural steel, industrial sheds and infrastructure works.
- Proficiency in reading civil and structural drawings.
- Experience in contractor management, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation and site progress monitoring.
- Understanding of construction quality standards, safety practices and project schedules.
- Valuable coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel or work at project sites as per project requirements.

Preferred Industry Background Candidates from heavy engineering, industrial manufacturing, machine-building plants, industrial EPC and new plant construction projects will be preferred.

Note: Candidates with a Diploma in Civil Engineering will also be considered based on their relevant industrial project experience and practical site execution knowledge.
