About the Role

DocTutorials is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer – Artificial Intelligence to lead AI architecture, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role reporting to the VP – Technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and lead AI/ML architecture and technical strategy.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build solutions using LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Embeddings, and Agentic AI.
- Develop and optimize vector database solutions.
- Take AI solutions from prototype to reliable production deployment.
- Build scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Ensure AI systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
- Mentor AI engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with the VP – Technology on AI initiatives and platform development.

Required Skills & Qualifications




- 10+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
- Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Embeddings, and Agentic AI.
- Experience with Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, or Weaviate.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
- Proven experience deploying production-grade AI solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Experience in AI architecture, strategy, and technical leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building scalable AI platforms.
- Solid understanding of production AI systems and architecture.
- Experience leading and mentoring AI/ML engineering teams.

- Salary Range: ₹24,00,000 – ₹36,00,000 per annum
