Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef De Partie role based at Amrit Bhawan in Haridwar.

The Chef De

Partie will manage a specific kitchen section, prepare and present dishes according to established standards, and ensure consistency in taste and quality.

Responsibilities include overseeing mise en place, monitoring food safety and hygiene, coordinating with other kitchen team members, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. The role also involves supporting menu execution, assisting with inventory and stock rotation,



and collaborating with management to uphold the property’s experiential and boutique culinary standards.

Qualifications

- Culinary skills in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes, with strong knowledge of basic techniques and regional or contemporary cuisines.
- Experience in kitchen operations, including station management, mise en place, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly with colleagues, and coordinate service during busy periods.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and consistency in quality.
- Prior experience in boutique hotels, resorts, or high-quality restaurants is preferred.
- Relevant culinary education or formal chef training is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Haridwar and adapt to a retreat-style, guest-focused environment.

Preferences

- Formal culinary education or certification from a recognised institute is preferred.
- Continental or Bakery background is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience.
