About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Officer (CBO) Loan Against Property (LAP) to lead business growth, profitability, and operational excellence across multiple geographies. The role will focus on driving disbursements, managing a large branch network, strengthening distribution, and ensuring sustainable business expansion while maintaining portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and drive the LAP business across multiple states, with a focus on business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
2. Manage a large branch network, ensuring optimal branch productivity,

operational efficiency, and achievement of business targets.
1. Drive disbursements and revenue growth while maintaining desired portfolio yields and asset quality.
2. Oversee the end-to-end LAP business, including sourcing, credit coordination, underwriting, disbursements, collections, and portfolio management.
3. Develop and implement business strategies to improve market penetration, customer acquisition, and distribution effectiveness.
4. Build and lead high-performing teams across sales, credit, operations, and collections.
5. Monitor business performance,



portfolio quality, and risk metrics to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
6. Ensure adherence to internal policies, credit norms, risk management

frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.
1. Identify opportunities for geographical expansion and establish scalable business operations to support future growth.

Experience

- Significant leadership experience in the Loan Against Property (LAP) business, preferably in a senior business leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing a large branch network and driving

substantial monthly disbursement volumes.
- Robust understanding of secured lending, LAP products, credit processes, risk management, and portfolio profitability.
- Experience managing business operations across multiple states, preferably including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh.
- Ability and willingness to manage additional geographies as the business expands.
- Demonstrated capabilities in strategic planning, team leadership, business development, and execution.
