About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join our Record to Report (RTR) team. This role provides hands-on experience in core accounting processes, including General Ledger (GL) Accounting, Fixed Asset Management, Intercompany Reconciliation, and Statutory Audit Support.

The intern will work closely with the RTR team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Ledger Accounting

- Assist in posting journal entries and performing month-end closing activities.
- Support the review of GL balances and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations.

2. Fixed Asset Process & Accounting

- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure timely capitalization and decapitalization of assets.
- Prepare Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP) schedules.
- Assist in depreciation runs and reconciliation of Fixed Asset GL versus FAR.
- Maintain documentation for audit and SOX compliance requirements.

3. Intercompany Reconciliation

- Support the preparation and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.




- Assist in resolving discrepancies between entities and ensure timely settlements.

4. Statutory Audit Support

- Provide necessary documentation and schedules for external audits.
- Assist in responding to auditor queries and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (CA Intern preferred).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
