TARS makes leather bags and accessories for brands at our factory in Erode, Tamil Nadu. We are looking for someone to lead how TARS wins business by opening doors with brands, retailers and corporate gifting buyers, and building a steady flow of repeat leather goods orders.

Pay: A fixed salary plus variable pay linked to the business you bring in. Negotiable depending on skills and experience.

What you will do - Own the revenue target for our leather goods unit and build the plan to reach it.

- Use your network in the leather goods, fashion accessories and gifting trade to reach brands, retailers, buying houses and corporate gifting companies in India and abroad.
- Lead key conversations from the first meeting to the signed order, covering brief, samples, price, terms and timeline.
- Agree prices, minimum order quantities and payment terms with our costing team, protecting margin as well as volume.
- Represent TARS at trade fairs, buyer visits and industry events, and bring buyers to see the factory.




- Build accounts that come back season after season and grow what each one buys.
- Keep the pipeline and forecasts up to date and report on them monthly.
- Share buyer feedback with product development so our samples sell. What you bring - 8 years or more selling leather goods, bags, fashion accessories or corporate gifts to businesses, with a record of large, repeat orders.
- An active network among brand sourcing teams, buying houses, retailers or gifting companies.
- Working knowledge of how bags are costed, sampled and made.
- Confident English; Tamil or Hindi is a plus.
- Willing to travel within India and abroad.
