Position: BIW Process Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 2–8 Years

Industry: Automotive / Automobile Manufacturing

Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle Body-in-White (BIW) manufacturing processes, including sheet metal body assembly and fabrication.
- Plan, monitor and improve BIW production processes to achieve production targets.
- Work on spot welding, MIG welding, robotic welding and fixture-based assembly processes.
- Ensure proper fitment, alignment, dimensional accuracy and quality of body components.
- Handle process troubleshooting and resolve production-related issues.
- Monitor welding parameters, cycle time and process efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance and tooling teams for smooth operations.
- Identify and reduce rejection,



rework and material wastage through process improvement.
- Handle fixture validation, jig inspection and process trials.
- Maintain process documentation, quality records and follow 5S and safety standards.
