BARGE ENGINEER - MALDIVES

We are looking for an experienced Barge Engineer to oversee and manage barge construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in managing construction teams from the initial stage to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage barge construction projects from start to finish.
- Read and interpret technical plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Lead and coordinate barge-building teams, including welders and other workers.
- Provide clear instructions to the team and ensure proper welding joints and quality workmanship.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on technical drawings.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within deadlines.
- Oversee plumbing, electrical wiring, and other construction-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of engineering experience in barge construction.




- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong knowledge of barge construction processes and techniques.
- Experience in managing construction teams and supervising welders.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical wiring.
- Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Ability to independently oversee projects from start to completion.

Salary & Advantages

- Salary: 55000 to 95000 INR
- Food provided.
- Accommodation provided.
- Salary package will be based on experience.
