– Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)Experience: 8+ Years

Primary Skill: Node.js (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and services using Node.js.
- Build robust, secure, and efficient RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures and distributed backend systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers for relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement messaging, event-driven architectures, and caching mechanisms to ensure application scalability and performance.
- Follow best practices for code quality, unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD automation, and cloud deployments.
- Participate in system architecture discussions, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, with strong expertise in Node.js (Mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Extensive experience designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using JSON-based data exchange.




- Strong understanding of backend architecture, microservices, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with messaging and caching technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Couchbase, or DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Git-based workflows.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Mocha.
- Understanding of application performance optimization, security best practices, and production debugging.
- Exposure to Python-based backend development is an added advantage.

Valuable to Have
- Experience developing applications using Databricks and Lakebase.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and serverless computing.
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale application development.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
