Education

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience
- 5–8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
- Working knowledge of Azure VMs, AKS, Azure Functions, Blob Storage and Azure SQL / managed databases.
- Positive understanding of Azure networking: VPN, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
- Experience with identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC), encryption and key management.
- Exposure to hybrid connectivity and on-premises Windows/Active Directory is a plus.

Technical Skills
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform.
- GitHub or Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines/Workflows).
- Scripting: PowerShell and Azure CLI (Python is a plus).
- Containers: Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.

Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or GitHub Foundations or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) – a plus

Soft Skills
- Clear communication and teamwork across functions.
- Ability to take direction, follow standards and learn quickly.
