Quality assurance of business applications built on Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE for a major Irish retail bank. The team delivers process automation and customer- and colleague-facing apps in a regulated banking workplace, where releases must meet strict quality and audit standards.
What candidate is needed
- Manual testing of canvas and model-driven Power Apps and Dynamics 365 forms: functional, regression, integration, UAT support
- Test automation for Power Platform / Dynamics 365 UI with C# / .NET and Selenium WebDriver or Playwright
- Testing Power Automate flows: triggers, approvals, error paths, connector behaviour
- Dataverse data checks: security roles, business rules, data validation
- REST API testing (Postman); reading XML and JSON
- Writing test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria; clear defect reporting in Azure DevOps or Jira
- Running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps); Git
- Agile (Scrum / Kanban) with Azure DevOps or Jira boards; daily collaboration with the team in Irish hours
Nice to have
- Playwright for Power Platform (Microsoft's recommended approach for Power Apps test automation)
- Basic understanding of Power Platform ALM (solutions, environments)
- Banking or financial-services testing background
