Essential Skills: AutoCAD Engineer

Role Descriptions: "Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering| Mechanical Engineering| Industrial Design| or related field with 4-6+ years of experience in structural packaging design. Advanced expertise in AutoCAD and/or ArtiosCAD creating folding carton dielines| corrugated shippers| inserts| partitions| trays| and retail displays. Strong understanding of packaging materials| manufacturing processes| supplier collaboration| and generation of production-ready CAD drawings.Specific experience within the Consumer| OTC| or Pharmaceutical industry is must. GMP experience is must.

Experience in a highly regulated workplace is preferred. Demonstrated technical knowledge related to package materials| equipment| testing and package development is preferred.Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal| state and local laws/regulations| the Companies policies| procedures and guidelines| this position is required to: oEngage in the development of the material and structural aspects of packages| including Primary| Secondary & Tertiary materials to ultimately deliver a robust packaging system to the market.



oPackaging Dieline DevelopmentoCreate and modify folding carton die-lines.oCorrugated shipper designs (RSC| HSC| FOL| die-cut boxes).oInserts| partitions| trays| sleeves| and retail packaging.oDisplay carton and shipper optimization.oGenerate manufacturing-ready 2D CAD files for suppliers using standardized Templates.oTypical DeliverablesoFolding carton die-linesoCorrugated shippersoPartition designsoInner traysoLabel layoutsoLeaflet/carton assembliesoBottles / Closures / Blisters Knowledge| Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in AUTOCAD| MS Office applications is required| especially with Excel and PowerPoint. Expert in creating manufacturing-ready dielines and 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD/ArtiosCAD or similar packaging design software.Co-ordination with Stakeholders to trace| monitor & package development process Bachelors degree in: Packaging EngineeringMechanical EngineeringIndustrial DesignManufacturing EngineeringGraphic/Structural Packaging Design Associate degree or technical diploma in CAD Design| Packaging Technology| or Engineering Drafting may be acceptable with significant industry experience."
