We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Associate Manager to join the CFO team in our Advisory practice - Chennai office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or training.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our CFO team. This role involves preparing and reviewing SEC filings including S-1, S-3, S-4, 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K and supporting financial statement uplift and presentation under US GAAP and SEC requirements.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Prepare and review SEC filings including S-1, S-3, S-4, 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K
- Support financial statement uplift and presentation under US GAAP and SEC requirements
- Assist clients with Business Combinations (ASC 805), Financial Instruments (ASC 480/815), Share based payments (ASC 718), Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Leases (ASC 842) and related reporting requirements
- Support IPO readiness and public company reporting initiatives
- Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and footnotes
- Collaborate with client finance teams, auditors, and legal stakeholders to ensure filing compliance

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

- 5+ years of experience in SEC Reporting, Financial Reporting, or CFO Advisory
- Qualifications: CA/CPA (preferred), B. Com, M. Com, or MBA.
- Preferred Experience: Candidates from Public Accounting Firms (Big 4 or mid-market advisory firms) with experience in CFO Advisory, Accounting Advisory, SEC Reporting, and Technical Accounting functions.
- Strong experience with SEC filings (S-1, S-3, S-4, 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K)
- Sound knowledge of US GAAP, Regulation S-X, and Financial Statement Presentation
- Experience supporting publicly traded companies, IPOs, or SEC registrants
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines
- Ability to interact with senior executives and management




- Ability to solve problems by gathering information, discussing options and making recommendations
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required, in support of the business
- Significant knowledge of accounting and finance processes and functions
- Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis
