Role Description The Assistant Professor in CSE will be responsible for delivering undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, including preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures, and leading laboratory sessions. The role involves designing assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing academic mentoring and guidance.

The Assistant

Professor will contribute to curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings, and support accreditation and quality assurance activities. Engagement in research, publications, and academic projects, as well as organizing seminars, workshops, and student activities, is expected.



This is a full time, in office role based in Kottayam, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in institutional initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Ability to design and deliver effective course content, including classroom teaching, laboratory instruction, and use of educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Experience or interest in academic research, including conducting studies, publishing in journals or conferences, and guiding student projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Commitment to student-centric teaching, academic integrity, and continuous professional development in emerging areas of CSE.
- Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution;
- Familiarity with AICTE and university norms, accreditation processes, and outcome-based education frameworks is an advantage.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level, or relevant industry experience in software development or IT, will be considered beneficial.
