Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager to manage the procurement of electronic components, raw materials, and related supplies. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in sourcing electronic parts such as PCBs, PCBAs, ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, sensors, semiconductors, batteries, and other electronic components while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for electronic components and materials.
- Source and purchase PCBs, PCBAs, ICs, microcontrollers, sensors, connectors, relays, switches, resistors, capacitors, semiconductors, cables, wiring harnesses, lithium battery components, and other electronic parts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, and annual rate contracts with vendors.
- Identify alternate vendors and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Stores departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor order execution until material receipt.
- Track supplier performance based on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and pricing.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases based on production forecasts.
- Resolve supplier-related issues including quality concerns, shortages, and delayed deliveries.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, quotations, and contracts.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare periodic procurement reports, cost analyses, and MIS for management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical) or Graduation with relevant procurement experience.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Materials Management is preferred.

Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience purchasing PCBs, PCBAs, electronic components, and electrical materials.
- Experience in vendor development and supplier negotiations.
- Exposure to import procurement and international sourcing will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Excellent vendor negotiation and cost management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyze quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple procurement activities.
