About the Role The position will be responsible for supporting procurement operations related to copper, aluminium, and other engineering/raw materials by managing purchase orders, vendor coordination, documentation, supply chain follow-ups, and procurement reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for order confirmations, delivery schedules, dispatch updates, invoices, debit/credit notes, and documentation.
- Liaise with plant, stores, logistics, quality, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Track open purchase orders, pending deliveries, material receipts, and closure of procurement transactions.
- Maintain vendor master data, contracts, procurement records, and supporting documents.
- Support vendor account reconciliation, invoice verification, payment follow-ups, and discrepancy resolution.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports related to open POs, delivery status, vendor balances, and procurement metrics.




- Ensure compliance with procurement processes, approval workflows, and audit requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement Operations.
- Experience working in manufacturing or plant-based procurement environments.
- Valuable exposure to PO management, vendor coordination, procurement documentation, and supply chain follow-up.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, inventory tracking, and procurement MIS reporting.
- Candidates from Copper, Aluminium, Cable, Transformer, Electrical Equipment, Engineering Manufacturing, or Non-Ferrous Metal industries will be preferred.
