Job Responsibilities

- Superviseday-to-day mechanical maintenance activities in the Extrusion and Anodizing Plant.

- Attend and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns ofextrusion press, furnaces, anodizing line and auxiliary equipment.

- Handle maintenance ofhydraulic systems, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, valves, cylinders, conveyors, cranes and material handling systems.

- Executepreventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule and checklists.

- Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalnoise, vibration, leakage, temperature and pressure.

- Allocate maintenance jobs tofitters and technicians and monitor timely completion.

- Coordinate withProduction, Electrical and Anodizing teams during breakdowns and planned maintenance.

- Ensure proper use oftools, tackles, consumables and spare parts during maintenance activities.

- Maintain equipment-wisebreakdown records, PM checklists and maintenance reports.

- Monitor and maintaincritical mechanical spares and inform the Engineer/Manager about requirements.





- Ensure proper housekeeping and5S in the maintenance area.

- FollowLOTO, work permit, PPE and other safety procedures during maintenance activities.

- Support installation, commissioning and modification of current machinery and equipment.

- Identify recurring breakdowns and supportRCA, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.

- Ensure proper discipline, work allocation and productivity of maintenance manpower.
