Role Description The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Intern will support the design, development, and testing of AI models and data-driven solutions that enhance accident detection and emergency response capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and preprocessing data, experimenting with machine learning algorithms, evaluating model performance, and assisting in deploying prototypes into the C.A.T.S ecosystem. The intern will collaborate with engineers and product team members to translate safety requirements into technical specifications,



document findings, and continuously improve existing systems.

This is an internship role, based on-site in Tamil Nadu, India, offering hands-on experience with real-world road safety and emergency technology projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science relevant to AI and safety-focused applications.
- Proficiency in Machine Learning concepts, including model development, evaluation, and optimization.
- Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI and data science (such as Python, R, or similar).
- Analytical skills for interpreting complex data, troubleshooting models, and drawing actionable insights.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment and communicate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in road safety, smart vehicles, and applying technology to real-world impact and emergency response.
