Application Development &

- Architecture

- Lead end-to-end development of PHP/Laravel backend services, React.js web applications and React Native mobile applications for Android and iOS.

- Define application architecture, coding standards and reusable components.

- Design and review REST APIs, database structures and integrations with enterprise systems and third-party services.

- Ensure consistent functionality and data flow across web and mobile platforms.

- Assess existing applications and plan upgrades, refactoring and reduction of technical debt.

Technical Leadership &

- Team Management

- Guide, mentor and allocate work to developers across backend, web and mobile development.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to agreed engineering standards.

- Support developers in troubleshooting complex technical issues.

- Identify skill gaps and support hiring, onboarding and knowledge transfer.

- Maintain transparent technical ownership across internal teams and vendors.

Delivery &

- Stakeholder Management

- Translate business requirements into technical tasks, effort estimates and release plans.

- Work with business stakeholders, project coordinators, QA and infrastructure teams to deliver agreed priorities.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily reviews, demonstrations and retrospectives.

- Track dependencies, delivery risks and blockers, and communicate progress clearly.

- Review vendor deliverables against approved requirements, quality standards and acceptance criteria.

Quality, Security &

- Performance

- Ensure appropriate testing, defect resolution and release readiness.

- Implement secure authentication,



authorization, input validation and protection of sensitive information.

- Monitor and improve application performance, API response times and database efficiency.

- Keep frameworks and dependencies supported, and coordinate vulnerability remediation.

- Ensure production issues are investigated, documented and addressed through corrective actions.

Deployment &

- Application Support

- Oversee version control, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

- Coordinate Android and iOS builds, signing and app store submissions.

- Maintain release documentation, rollback procedures and technical documentation.

- Support production monitoring, incident resolution and application availability.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.

- Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.

- Practical experience delivering and supporting React Native applications on both Android and iOS.

- Experience with React hooks, state management, navigation and API integration.

- Strong knowledge of MySQL, database design, indexing and query optimization.

- Experience designing REST APIs and implementing authentication using OAuth2, JWT or similar mechanisms.

- Proficiency with Git, pull requests, branching strategies and code reviews.

- Experience with automated testing, debugging, logging and application monitoring.

- Working knowledge of Linux, Apache/Nginx, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience troubleshooting mobile builds, platform permissions, push notifications, deep links and third-party SDK integrations.
