To take care of maintenance of E&I; driven machinery and equipment including control systems and field instruments installed in Jetty at Birla Copper complex at Dahej to increase productivity and plant availability.

To ensure all statutory compliances, adherence to health, safety, environment norms and quality certification parameters with respect to maintenance of E&I; driven equipment and the processes they support.

To continuously upgrade skills of the team and embed a culture of quality, safety and sustainability.

- Planning

Giving inputs for planning Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) for new or additional installations and system upgradations Giving inputs for the annual R&M; budget to control costs without sacrificing sustainability issues for area under jurisdiction.
- Operational Excellence

Implementing planned preventive maintenance schedule in the Jetty area Collating and analyzing data related to breakdowns and machine health in the area under jurisdiction and taking corrective action plan including shutdowns and predictive maintenance plan in case of any deviation.

Implementing and horizontal deployment of corrective action to maximize machine contribution, plant availability and uptime.

Partnering implementation of ERP systems

Optimizing consumption of spares vis a vis R&M; budgets and operating within optimum level of stock to eliminate wastage Giving inputs for substitution of critical and costly spares and adaptation of costly technology and equipment

Conducting Job Safety Analysis (containing specification of appropriate PPEs, classification of degree of hazard, nature of work permit required etc.) for daily maintenance jobs and implementing stipulations Embedding safety culture through use of PPEs, implementation of safe work processes and minimization of safety incidents and accidents.

Implementing compliance with health, safety, environment and statutory norms for all automation driven equipment and work processes, in area of jurisdiction
