Purpose and objectives of the role

You will have responsibility for assisting team members with the bookkeeping and statutory accounting compliance lines of our business.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Client record onboarding and digital conversion

• Preparation of bookkeeping, accounting and tax compliance reports for internal review. Inclusive of, but not limited to, Management accounts, VAT returns, Soletrader accounts, Statutory accounts, Self assessment and Corporate tax returns.

• Assisting with and contributing towards communications with client and HMRC, inclusive of investigations and enquiries

• Assisting and supporting the senior team in delivering outstanding client service

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

• Providing bookkeeping support to team members

• Support seniors with adhoc tasks and client work

Requirements

Your professional experience and skills

- Fresher but keen to learn and venture into UK Accounting




- Strong understanding of Accounting principal including double entry
- Experience of Indian accounting will be preferable
- Methodical and highly organized working skill base

- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Ability to deal effectively with issues in person and by telephone
- Desire to be flexible and proactive in suggesting ideas for streamlining the processes
- Using initiative to identify appropriate solutions to problems
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload

- Robust team working skills
- Calm, efficient and resilient under pressure
- Capable of meeting challenging/demanding and competing deadlines
- High degree of IT literacy
