An Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding students in selecting suitable courses and educational Programmes based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals. The role involves student counselling, admission support, follow-ups, and maintaining good relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding available courses, programmes, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds and career aspirations.
- Explain course details, fees, duration, and admission procedures.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, emails, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Assist students with the admission and registration process.
- Maintain student records and update enquiry databases.
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to students.
