- *Primary Responsibilities**
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of the electric distribution system.
- Install and connect single-phase and three-phase electrical services.
- Install and energize primary and secondary distribution systems, including conduits, conductors, transformers, and related equipment.
- Operate construction equipment, machinery, and tools as required.
- Inspect, test, clean, repair, and program electric meters.
- Follow and enforce safety practices to ensure protection of personnel, the public, and interdepartmental operations.
- Perform tree trimming activities as assigned to maintain line safety.
- Assist in substation maintenance activities.
- Install, maintain, and repair street lighting systems.
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate system records.




- *Secondary Responsibilities**
- Locate and mark underground utility lines on-site upon request.
- Maintain positive public relations while performing field duties.
- Assist with snow removal operations when required.
- Participate in on-call duty rotations for the electric department.
- Perform additional duties across departments as assigned by the Electric Department Head.
