Job Title: Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant for our client, a reputed Wedding Photography, Event Management, and Wedding Décor Company based in T Nagar, Chennai. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, billing, and financial records for multiple wedding projects and events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain day-to-day accounts, cash book, bank book, and ledger
- Prepare invoices, quotations, and payment follow-ups with clients
- Handle vendor bills, expense tracking, and payments
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Maintain accounts receivable and payable
- Assist in GST-related work including data preparation and coordination with CA
- Maintain proper financial records and documentation
- Support management with monthly financial reports and MIS
- Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs if required

Requirements:





- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Working knowledge of Tally / Accounting software
- Basic knowledge of GST and statutory compliances
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil
- Experience in service or event management industry is an added advantage
