Job Description

Shamway Infra Developers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a seasoned MEP Engineer to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for a high-profile government building project in Ajmer.

The ideal candidate will be a technical expert capable of integrating diverse building systems—including HVAC, Firefighting, Electrical Substations, and STP/WTP—while ensuring 100% compliance with government norms, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Integrated MEP Management

- Supervise the end-to-end execution of Electrical (HV/LV), HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and STP/WTP systems.
- Ensure seamless integration between MEP services and civil structures to avoid onsite clashes.

2. Electrical & Substation Works

- Oversee HV/LV substation installations, including transformers, DG sets, HT/LT panels, and earthing systems.
- Review load calculations, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and cable sizing.

3. Mechanical & Plumbing (PHE)

- Manage the installation of HVAC systems (VRV/VRF or Chillers) and central ventilation.
- Supervise internal and external plumbing, sewerage networks, and the commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
- Ensure Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler systems meet Fire Department (NOC) requirements.

4. Government Compliance & Billing

- Ensure all works align with CPWD/State PWD specifications, NBC 2016, and Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC).
- Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Joint Measurement Records (JMR), and assist the billing team in preparing R.A. bills for government department submission.
- Coordinate with local authorities (AVVNL, PHED, Fire Service) for load sanctions, water connections, and statutory approvals.

Quality & Documentation

- Maintain rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) logs, material test reports, and site hindrance registers.
- Review technical data sheets and shop drawings from vendors and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10–15 years in MEP project execution, with at least 5 years specifically on Government building projects (Hospitals, Offices, or Institutional buildings).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of DSR (District Schedule of Rates) and CPWD norms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (for reviewing shop drawings) and MS Excel.
- Experience in testing and commissioning complex MEP equipment.
- Soft Skills: Robust negotiation skills for dealing with subcontractors and the ability to represent the company in meetings with Government Executive Engineers (EE) and Consultants.
