Location Maharashtra Opening 1 Job Type Full-time Posted Date 2025-01-16 Project Manager - Maharashtra MEDA MSEDCL Pump Projects Position Project Manager Location Maharashtra Experience 4-5 Years Industry Renewable Energy Solar Pump Installation Projects Employment Type Full time Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution Manage the implementation and execution of MEDA Maharashtra Energy Development Agency and MSEDCL Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited solar pump projects Prepare and monitor project schedules budgets and resource allocations Ensure all project activities are completed within the stipulated timeline and budget Team Leadership Supervise and lead site engineers technicians and field teams involved in the project Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site challenges Client and Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary point of contact for MEDA MSEDCL officials and other stakeholders Ensure alignment of project activities with client objectives and regulatory guidelines Technical Oversight Oversee the installation commissioning and testing of solar-powered pumps and related systems Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards Compliance and Documentation Ensure adherence to safety standards and government regulations throughout the project Maintain detailed documentation including progress reports project expenses and technical records Performance Monitoring Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and resolve any issues Monitor the performance of installed systems and address operational issues promptly Risk Management Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution Skills and Competencies Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute renewable energy projects efficiently In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems particularly solar pump technology Excellent leadership and team management abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficiency in using project management tools and MS Office Effective communication skills for stakeholder and team interactions Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical Mechanical Civil Engineering or a related field 4-5 years of experience in renewable energy or solar pump project management Certification in project management e g PMP is a plus Familiarity with MEDA and MSEDCL guidelines is preferred Knowledge of Maharashtra s local language s is an advantage Salary and Benefits Competitive salary as per industry standards Travel and accommodation allowances for project requirements Additional benefits based on performance and project outcomes
