nWe are seeking a skilled and experienced **E&I; Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation)** to join our team at the Haldia/Kolkata location. The role is critical for ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant electrical and instrumentation systems to support continuous and efficient plant operations.n
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Handle **VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)** maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Carry out **belt scale calibration** and ensure accuracy in measurement systems
- Execute general electrical maintenance, including motors, panels, and feeders
- Monitor and maintain **belt monitoring systems** for smooth plant operation
- Ensure proper functioning of safety devices such as:
- ZSS (Zero Speed Switch)
- PCS (Pull Cord Switch)
- BSS (Belt Sway Switch)
- Perform **encoder checking, calibration, and troubleshooting**
- Conduct **logic checking and basic control system diagnostics**
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for breakdown resolution
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for maintenance activities
- *Requirements:**
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
- **3–6 years of relevant experience** in plant maintenance / industrial environment
- Strong hands-on experience in **VFD maintenance**
- Knowledge of belt conveyor systems and associated instrumentation
- Understanding of control systems and basic PLC logic
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- *Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in **cement / power plant / bulk material handling / industrial plants**
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdown situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
