We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Scientific Officer (MSc MLT) to join our Diagnostic & Scan Centre in Palakkad. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality standards, and supporting accurate and timely diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage day-to-day laboratory operations
Perform and validate routine and specialized laboratory tests
Ensure compliance with quality control protocols and laboratory standards
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
Review and verify test results before reporting
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping as per regulatory requirements
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines
Coordinate with doctors, radiology, and other departments for integrated patient care
Train and guide junior lab technicians and staff
Ensure compliance with DME and Paramedical Council regulations
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: MSc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MSc MLT)
Certification:
DME Approved Certificate (Mandatory)
Registration: Valid Paramedical Council Registration (Mandatory)
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years preferred (Freshers with strong academic background may be considered)
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic techniques
Attention to detail and accuracy in test reporting
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues
Knowledge of NABL standards is an added advantage
