Position Overview

n

We are seeking an experienced and passionate IBDP Computer Science, Digital Society, and Digital Design Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling DP board batches and demonstrate expertise in delivering IB curriculum standards with a strong focus on real-world application, digital ethics, and design thinking.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Teach IBDP Computer Science, Digital Society, and Digital Design courses, with a strong emphasis on concept clarity, innovation, and inquiry-based learning.n

- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the IB Diploma Programme framework.

n

- Guide students in their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays where applicable.

n





- Collaborate with the IBDP Coordinator and other faculty members to ensure interdisciplinary connections and academic rigor.

n

- Stay updated with the latest IB guidelines and subject reports.

n

- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.

n

- Integrate technology meaningfully into teaching and learning.

n

- Support students in developing computational thinking, coding, digital ethics, and cooperative project-based skills.

n

- Engage actively in the residential school life, including pastoral care, evening prep duties, and co-curricular initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

n

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Digital Design or a related field.n

- Professional teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent preferred).

n

- IB certifications mandatory

n

- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme, specifically DP Computer Science and/or Digital Society.

n

- Proven experience in supervising IB Internal Assessments and Extended Essays.

n

- Familiarity with design tools, programming environments, UI/UX principles, and digital technologies relevant to the subject areas.

n

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for holistic education.

n

- Willingness to live and contribute in a residential school environment.
