We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP Ariba Consultant to join a global project team delivering a multi-year procurement and sourcing transformation program for a reputed international client.

This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity, ideal for consultants who want to work on large-scale digital procurement transformations, drive supplier collaboration, and contribute to high-impact global initiatives.

? Role: SAP Ariba Consultant

? Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant)

? Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)

? Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with solid extension potential)

? Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks

Responsibilities

- Configure and implement key SAP Ariba modules, such as:
- Ariba Sourcing
- Ariba Buying & Invoicing
- Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)
- Ariba Contracts
- Collaborate with procurement and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Translate business needs into functional designs and scalable procurement solutions
- Design and optimize Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes across sourcing, contracting, and procurement
- Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and resolve functional issues
- Work on integration with SAP S/4HANA / ECC using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)
- Coordinate with technical and integration teams for enhancements and interfaces




- Assist with data migration, supplier enablement, cutover activities, and post-go-live support

Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes (Source-to-Pay)
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or support project
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global delivery environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Ariba CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) for S/4HANA or ECC integration
- Exposure to supplier onboarding, catalog enablement, and invoicing automation
- Familiarity with SAP MM integration and procurement processes
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, or Pharma
- Experience with data migration tools and supplier data governance
