Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring timely production, quality compliance, cost control, and adherence to food safety standards. The role involves close coordination with quality, stores, dispatch, and packaging teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain production MIS and records;
- Control and monitor inventory of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Ensure quality compliance of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
- Create, implement, and monitor SOPs for production and quality processes.
- Monitor production processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
- Ensure products are produced on time and meet defined quality standards.
- Implement and monitor product quality standards and improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO,



Food Safety, and HACCP standards.
- Handle packaging and labeling activities as per regulatory and customer requirements.
- Ensure safe and effective loading and placement of materials in trucks/containers.
- Manage and verify dispatch, delivery, and order fulfillment documentation.
- Coordinate with accounts and logistics teams for invoicing and credit processing.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Hands-on knowledge of confectionery production processes.
- Sound understanding of packaging materials used in confectionery products.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

Education & Experience

- Minimum 1 years of experience in a Food Processing / Confectionery manufacturing facility.
- Prior experience as a Production Supervisor is mandatory.

Reporting To

Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
