Reports To: Head of Purchases, Director of Strategy and CEO

Summary
nThe Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials and excipients essential for pharmaceutical production. The role involves building robust vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost optimisation while maintaining quality standards.n
Key Responsibilities
n· Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for raw materials and excipients.n
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost-effective procurement.
n
· Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure incoming materials meet specified standards.
n
· Monitor supplier performance and manage long-term partnerships.
n
· Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules and inventory levels.
n
· Maintain accurate purchasing records, budgets, and compliance documentation.
n
Qualifications and Experience
n· MBA in logistics and supply chain management or Mpharm or Bpharmn
· 3+ years of procurement experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
n
· Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with GMP requirements.
n
· Proficiency in ERP or procurement software systems.
n
