Job Purpose- The Manager HRBP will drive HR transformation at the port location by partnering with business leaders to implement people practices, build leadership capability, improve workforce productivity and embed a performance- and safety-driven culture across port operations.

Key Accountability

nTalent & Workforce Managementn

n
- Drive manpower planning in line with shift-based and seasonal port operations.
n
- Lead strategic workforce planning, balancing permanent, contract, and outsourced workforce.
n
- Support PSA INDIA talent acquisition team for accurate manpower needs.
n
- Strengthen onboarding and assimilation to improve time-to-productivity.
n

nPerformance & Capability Developmentn

n
- Manage performance management processes for operational teams.
n
- Identify skill gaps and work with PSA INDIA L&D; team on technical, safety, and leadership training programs.
n
- Support succession planning for key operational and supervisory roles.
n
- Partner with operations to improve productivity, attendance discipline, and shift effectiveness through HR levers.
n

nHR Operations, Compliance & Governancen

n
- Implement PSA INDIA HR policies & Ensure governance, audit readiness, and statutory compliance while modernizing HR processes.
n
- Use HR analytics and dashboards designed at PSA INDIA to provide insights on attrition, productivity, capability gaps, and engagement and provide suggestions for improvement of metrics.
n
- Manage HR documentation, audits, and compliance requirements.
n




- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and consultants as required.
n
- Monthly reporting management to various stakeholders.
n

nEmployee Engagement & Welfaren

n
- Drive employee engagement initiatives suitable for a blue-collar and mixed workforce.
n
- Improve employee communication, feedback mechanisms, and grievance redressal processes.
n
- Champion initiatives that enhance employee experience, retention, and employer brand at the port.
n

nGroup/Region/Country HR ProgramsnSpoc for implementation of Programs across the BU.n
