Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Development and Delivery:

- Design and implement engaging STEM lessons aligned with state and national standards.
- Use project-based learning (PBL) strategies to promote hands-on exploration and real-world problem-solving.
- Incorporate emerging technologies, coding, robotics, and other STEM tools into lessons.

2. Instruction and Engagement:

- Teach STEM concepts to students at PRT & TGT Levels
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.

3. Technology Integration:

- Utilize digital tools, simulations, and resources to enhance learning.
- Teach coding, programming, and the use of engineering design processes.

4. Student Development:

- Encourage students to pursue STEM-related interests and careers.
- Mentor students in STEM competitions, fairs, and extracurricular activities.

5. Assessment and Feedback:

- Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.

6. Professional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary STEM initiatives.




- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on STEM trends.

7. Community and Outreach:

- Organize STEM events, workshops, or exhibitions for students and parents.
- Partner with local industries, universities, and organizations to enhance STEM opportunities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Previous experience teaching STEM subjects or working in a STEM-related field.

Skills:

- Solid knowledge of STEM concepts and technologies (e.g., coding, robotics, 3D printing).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in an interactive learning environment.
- Familiarity with STEM-based curriculum frameworks (e.g., NGSS, Common Core).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Knowledge of emerging STEM education trends and practices.
- Experience guiding students in STEM fairs, robotics competitions, or similar programs.
