Our client, a very reputed and large, and one of the oldest national level Chartered Accountants Firm (CA Firm) has now planned to hire a Senior and well Experienced Chartered Accountant to augment their BFSI Statutory Audit practice at their Branch Office at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (Near Ahmedabad).

THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY: A Senior level (as Director) or Mid-level (as Manager) career opportunity for an Experienced Chartered Accountant to associate with one of the oldest and most reputed, professionally managed, large Indian CA firm to Lead BFSI Statutory Audit & Assurance assignments at their Branch Office at Gandhinagar (Near Ahmedabad) Gujarat, and manage prestigious Audit assignments with some of the prestigious and Large Banks/ NBFCs/BFSI companies/Fund houses, and develop himself/herself professionally while working with the firms seasoned leadership and some of the brightest fellow chartered accountants.

The selected candidate will be suitably designated as per the candidate’s seniority e.g., "Director” or “Manager” depending on seniority; and would be fairly remunerated in line with the industry/market standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

nQualification: A Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)n

Experience:



Minimum 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in BFSI Statutory Audit, preferably at Big-4 or large/well-known CA firms, with strong Audit and Assurance background in Statutory Audits, Tax Audit, and Compliances related to BFSI sector – for Banking /NBFC / BFSI /Funds /Investment Houses – related to BFSI, IFSCA, SEBI, or RBI regulations, along with Ind-AS, and Companies Act.

Candidate’s Profile: A qualified senior Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 5 to 8 years of post-qualification, good quality Audit experience in Audit and Assurance practice – in leading and managing different types of Audits & Assurance assignments – including Statutory Audit, Limited Review, Ind-AS, Central Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, ICOFR, etc. – gained at CA firms, preferably Big-4, or other large/mid-sized and well-known CA firms. Good experience in independently managing/conducting Central Statutory Audit, Branch Audit, Tax Audit of Banks/NBFCs, and other BFSI Audits would be desirable. Valuable knowledge of RBI Rules applicable to Banks/NBFCs Audit is needed.

Also should have knowledge and be experienced in managing Compliance and Filings, including Monthly and Annual Performance Reports (MPR/APR), Oversight, implement and monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT)

Key Technical Skills Needed:

- Audit & Compliance: Expertise in statutory audits focussed on BFSI sector clients, GST, SEZ, IFSCA compliance and regulatory reporting.
n
- Financial Reporting: Proficiency in Ind AS for Indian statutory purposes and IFRS/US GAAP for international reporting within the IFSC.
n
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of Advanced Excel, and Accounting Software/ERPs like: Tally, SAP, QuickBooks etc.
n

nKey Responsibilities:n

- To Lead Team, and manage Statutory Audit and Assurance assignments end-to-end - from planning to finalization. Ensure financial statements comply with Ind AS, Accounting Standards, and Companies Act requirements – and while ensuring the Sector-specific Oversight vis--vis Processes, Compliances, Revenue recognition, NPA provisioning etc.

- Maintain documentation as per Standards on Auditing (SAs), IFSCA regulations and internal firm quality benchmarks.

- Manage periodic compliance filings, including Monthly and Annual Performance Reports (MPR/APR), Oversight, implement and monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) programs as per the IFSCA (AML, CFT and KYC) Guidelines, 2022 and ensure adherence to the compliance requirements under SEZ Act, 2005 and Rules, 2006.
