Role & responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain scalable Django-based backend applications.
Design, implement, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas.
Build and maintain REST APIs for frontend/mobile app consumption.
Integrate APIs with third-party services where needed.
Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other team members.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
Stay updated with the latest backend and database technologie

Preferred candidate profile
Core: Robust proficiency in Python programming.
Frameworks:



Hands-on experience with Django / Django REST Framework (DRF).
Databases: Valuable knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization, queries).
API Development: Experience in designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIs.
ORM: Understanding of Django ORM and query optimization.
Authentication: Knowledge of JWT/OAuth2 or session-based authentication.
Version Control: Proficient with Git / GitHub / GitLab workflows.
Deployment: Basic experience with Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
Other Valuable-to-Have: Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or async tasks handling.
