Position Overview - The Retail Manager will lead operations at our Gurugram Experience Centre, a premium showroom for fitness and wellness equipment. Focus on creating immersive customer trials for Fitness & Wellness Equipment’s, driving sales through expert consultations, and ensuring a safe, hygienic, high-energy workplace while managing team performance, inventory, and operations in Gurugram's competitive fitness market.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily centre operations, including guided equipment demos, personalized fitness consultations, and trial sessions to convert visitors into buyers.

n

- Drive sales targets via upselling bundles (e.g., home gym packages), in-centre events like wellness workshops, and partnerships with local gyms/trainers.

n

- Monitor inventory for demo units, accessories, and consumables; coordinate maintenance to keep all equipment functional and hygienic.

n

- Ensure strict safety protocols: daily equipment checks, user guidelines during trials, and compliance with fitness industry standards.

n

- Handle customer feedback on product usability/ergonomics, resolving issues like sizing or warranty queries.

n

- Analyse footfall, trial-to-sale ratios, and CRM data to optimize layout and promotions; report monthly on revenue per sq ft.

n

- Promote the centre via social media,



local events, and collaborations with Gurugram influencers in fitness/wellness space.

n

- Build B2B networks with gyms, corporates (e.g., DLF Cyber City), and trainers for bulk orders; adapt to seasonal trends like summer home gym spikes.

n

- Critical to prevent injuries during demos—missing this risks liability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

n

n

- Bachelor’s in business, Sports Management, or Fitness-related field; 3-5+ years in retail/showroom management, ideally fitness equipment or wellness retail.

n

- Strong sales acumen with proven results in experiential retail.

n

- Proficiency in POS/CRM and basic fitness tracking apps.

n

- Leadership skills for motivating a high-energy team; excellent Hindi/English communication for diverse Gurugram clientele.

n

- Physical fitness for demos and ability to lift/handle equipment safely.

n

Preferred Experience

n

n

- Worked in fitness brands Companies or equipment showrooms.

n

- Experience with wellness trends like home gyms, recovery tools (massagers, foam rollers).

n

- Local Gurugram network for B2B sales to gyms/corporates.

n
