Job Title: Platform Engineering Engineer II

Location: Chennai

Position Description:
Employees in this job function are focused on developing and maintaining reusable software components that serve the needs of product developers in the organization.
They are responsible for designing, implementing, integrating and maintaining the underlying infrastructure and software applications that support developer productivity and self-service.

Core Focus:
Dataflow pipelines, streaming architecture, Apache Beam

Key Responsibilities:




Design and optimize Dataflow pipeline templates Implement streaming data processing patterns Manage Pub/Sub topic architecture and message routing Optimize pipeline performance (throughput, latency, cost) Troubleshoot streaming data issues and bottlenecks Develop reusable streaming components and patterns Monitor pipeline health and implement auto-scaling

Required Skills:
Apache Beam, Cloud Dataflow, streaming concepts Pub/Sub, event-driven architectures Python, Java (for Beam development) Stream processing patterns (windowing, state management)

Skills Required:
Data Flow, Java, Python, Pub/Sub, Software Development

Experience Required:
Engineer IIExp.: Practitioner: 1 coding language or framework.
4+ years in IT;
3+ years in development

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree
