Backend Engineer – Remote

Location: Remote in India (Hyderabad or Gurgaon or Bangalore )
Work hours: 5am-1pmEST (2:30- 10:30pmIST)
Compensation: 17–25 LPA (based on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Must-haves:
7+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer
Strong hands‑on experience with C# and .NET (8+) in enterprise environments
Solid database experience with Oracle, or robust experience with SQL Server plus willingness to transition and deepen Oracle skills
Experience building and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
Background working within Agile methodologies and scrum teams
Ability to support both current feature development and production issues
Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently in a distributed team,



and excellent communication skills

Plusses:
Experience in the insurance domain, particularly policy or claims systems
Prior work supporting or modernizing legacy .NET applications while contributing to cloud‑based development
Exposure to Azure‑based modernization or cloud migration initiatives
