Resident Sales Engineer – Gujarat

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Resident Sales Engineer to manage and expand our business presence across Gujarat. The ideal candidate should be a BE Mechanical Engineer with experience in industrial/heavy industry sales and strong familiarity with major industrial belts and GIDC clusters across Gujarat.
The role requires regular customer visits, technical sales discussions, relationship management, business development, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business opportunities across Gujarat industrial regions and GIDC clusters.
- Promote and sell the company’s products/services to heavy industries, process industries, EPC contractors, OEMs, and manufacturing units.
- Identify new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular customer visits, technical discussions, and product presentations.
- Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial offers, and follow up for order closures.
- Coordinate with internal departments for quotations, technical clarifications, order execution, and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, visit reports, and customer databases.
- Travel extensively within Gujarat as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech – Mechanical)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in industrial/heavy industry sales
- Strong understanding of industrial products and technical sales processes
- Familiarity with Gujarat industrial belts and major GIDCs
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat
- Valid driving license preferred
